As we draw nearer to the holy months and Spring, there is abundant activity at Ivanhoe Congregational Church.
Spring with Ivanhoe Congregational Church toward the holiest of months

With Spring on the horizon, activities at Ivanhoe Congregational Church abound. We invite you to enjoy the events leading us towards Holy Week.

  • Sunday, February 9 - Souper Bowl of Caring; Sunday School/Youth Group. There will be Sweet & Savory Treat Boxes for sale, as well as the opportunity to directly contribute. Funds that are raised by our Ivanhoe kids will help support Lake County P.A.D.S.’  homelessness mission.

  • Sunday, February 16 – Time flies when you are having fun! Come and celebrate with us 187 years of being  Lake County’s friendliest and most welcoming church.

  • Sunday, February 23 - Action Auction annual fundraiser and lunch will follow worship service. Peruse a wide variety of merchandise offered as a part of our silent auction, or bid during a LIVE auction event after our service. Unique and FUN experiences, many with other members of the church family,  will be auctioned during this “Action Auction”.

  • Ash Wednesday, March 5 – Ivanhoe will again invite our church family and our community to a “Drive Through Ash Wednesday” from 07:00 am until 08:00 am. Receive ashes and a blessing on your way to work.

  • We will again partner with Exodus International Services in outfitting a home with the non-furniture items required to turn an apartment into a home. Many refugees who have been vetted by our government are awaiting housing. Exodus International, in conjunction with organizations like ours, will provide a list of needs based on a specific family’s demographics, and we will each have an opportunity to sponsor item(s) that they need. Stay tuned for further details.

Be you a long time member or a visitor for a day, no matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey,  you are welcomed and valued at Ivanhoe Congregationa Church.
